OK... Well, I moved to Kelseyville, the Riviera the summer before third grade and Casey was the first person I met, so I guess Ive known him for half my life now. I lived like a quarter mile away from him so we hung out a lot when I wasnt talking to my girlfriend on the phonesheesh. We went to Riviera Elementary, a future skate spot, and thats where I met Eric. Around 6^th grade Casey got into skating and I moved a few miles away from him. I met Dan and Dale while playing on Mountain Vistas basketball team and then I later met Will. I hung out with all these guys who skated then I decided to start myself. I brought my board to basketball practice and I found out Eric had started to get into skating a little before me and we started skating together before practice. Then after 8^th grade I moved away, but I still kept in touch w/ my friends down in Kelseyville. I created this site for Nar before i was a member because they are cool guys. I became an official New Age Rider in March 2004

Dale:

name, age, sex(hahahaha), and how long have u been skating?

Rory:

Rory James Carlberg, 15, Male i think, and iv'e been skating about 1 and a half years now

Dale:

shweet. what gotcha in to skating?

Rory:

Well, that's interesting. I remember i walked over to Dan's (Morgan) one day, i can't remember why. It was the end of the 7th grade year and i picked up sum ones board and i skated it. around a half year later i got my own and it's history from there.

Dale:

awesome. what influences you to keep skating?

Rory:

right now, it takes my mind off of school and life. I'm free for a few hours, not worrying about anything, except trying to land this varial flip lip slide.

Dale:

how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop?

Rory:

umm im gonna say 411

Dale:

good answer. what kind of music do you listen to?

Rory:

i love cky, and after that i listen to harder rock. i like music that has a meaning and not a bunch of the same.

Dale:

what has been your favorite spot you have skaten thus far mr. carlburg?

Rory:

that's hard to say... i like kickin back at riviera. Im looking forward to skating in San Francisco sometime soon.

Dale:

sick. have you met any pros?

Rory:

not yet... i was going to have a chance this weekend but i have to leave for so cal.

Dale:

what time is it?

Rory:

why are you up so early?

Rory:

hahahaha... you mean late...

im an insomniac... i like the darkness

thats soooo awesome like you know. well, is there anything you would like to say to the people out there who are skate boarding?

Rory:

don't stop... to many people do for lame reasons... oh yeah don't listen to what other people say because what they think doesn't matter... what you think matters.
